Alvin, Simon, Theodore...doo, doo...!

Yesterday Karen, Kori, Aunt Gail, Mom, Aunt Stacy, and myself (Kelly) went shopping in Champaign together for fall clothes. We were at Old Navy when I got a call on my cell phone from Aunt Stacy to come to a certain part of the store so she, Mom, and Aunt Gail could show us girls something. This is how we found them! Sorry for the poor picture quality...it was with my cell phone!

Well, the vests weren't too cute but the wearers sure were!!! (Except those two young fatasses!!)
We did have a few people gathering around us in the store, so I think they thought we were pretty cute, too!!! (Why else would they have gathered around, right?) And I can't believe no one bought one of those vests after we modeled them for everyone!!

Okay, I thought I'd better explain something to those of you who may not know us real well. The "f..a.." term I used in my last comment is REALLY a term of endearment that we picked up from our Grandma Burget (well, actually, after she died and we heard a story about her using that term.) The story made us all laugh so we've come to use it with each other, but only because we love each other Soooooo much and it reminds us of Grandma when we use it. So hope no one is offended. If you are, I'm sorry.

Mom, I'm glad you explained...some people do think that you're actually being mean to each other and I have to explain to them!!

Oh my God!!! We will be famous now. What a great time! Can't wait for our next adventure. Hopefully we will find something a little better to model though.

I hate you all for living so far away from me! Karen "slipped" on the phone last week and told me about this adventure. After her slip, she said, "Okay, I know this is going to make you mad, but the locals are all going shopping next weekend" I replied, "Huh! Well, I get to go car shopping with Kendall, so there!" Not quite as eventful though!
Seriously, Kendall and I both wish we could have been there with you. It sounds like you had a great time and I too am glad Mom explained the term to everybody to clear up the confusion.
Love you all!!

Kim, next time you guys are down for any length of time we will have to all make sure we go - even if it is just for the afternoon. I'm not a huge shopper but I love going just for the fun. Too bad Gail couldnt get a pix of your mom in Target

I'm so jealous of all of you and the fun you have together---my sister and I are ten years apart in age so we've never had the
closeness that you need for the good times doing things together as
a family.
Kelly, is there any way I could get a copy of that picture? I'm not exactly technologically-minded,
do to my senior status, you know....

Kim,
I hate it that you and Kendall are so far away. We definitely will have to plan a trip (maybe to Kori's) to shop when the two of you come home. And I really, really wish I had gotten a picture of your mom in Target.

I also wish we had gotten a picture of karen coming out of the liquer store to find that the "old People" had moved her van on her!! Priceless!!

Love you guys,
Aunt Gail
