Watch out Rocky!

Okay, so I know this won't be that fun of a blog for everybody because it does not contain any cute baby or kid pictures, however, I accomplished something and am SO excited for myself that I had to post a blog. Drum roll please.......I finally ran a complete mile without stopping! YAY!!! I have been jogging off and on all summer long and today after work I went on my usual jogging route and when I came to the spot where I usually start walking, I kept going and going and going until I made it to the end of the road!!! I know I am a dork, but this really makes me happy! And really, if I technically added it up, I probably jogged a mile and 3/4 and only walked a quarter of a mile! YAY ME!!!! So anyway, that's all!

The End!

Kendall :)

You are probably the only one of us who can do that, Kendall!! Yay for you!!! I love watching people run past my house, and I really feel exhilarated and refreshed just watching them!! But that's the extent of it -- just walking makes me light-headed!

As I told you yesterday, YAY!! I'm so proud of you! Whenever I go for a walk I think really hard about starting to jog, but never get the nerve up to do it. Why do I hate it so much? I ran in high school all the time!!
Next thing you know, you'll be running the 5K at the popcorn festival!

Congrats Kendall! I wish i could just get motivated to walk a little more. we have an elevator at work but i decided on my first day that i would only take it when my hands were too full to hold onto the railing on the stairs. I go up and down at least 4-6 times a day, so at least it's something.

You Rock!!

Way to go, Kendall! I'm so proud of you! Did you get the proverbial 'runner's high' where you feel like you're on top of the world once you get it done!

Maybe we'll have to make it a goal to run the 5k at the popcorn festival together next year!!!

Congratulations again!!!

that walking down to the corner by
the apartments and back is a great thing for me!!!Remember,Grandma does NOT like to walk but practise makes me feel better and improves my muscle tone, I guess!!!Do you remember to stretch first and last?
