Election of the favorite brother in-law!
You can vote only once, you can vote for yourself, and there can be four winners every year.
If you win your prize will be the ability to not attend any family functions outside of your own home, and in the event of one happening at your home you can observe from another location.

Although I fully support the new rule, I did not propose it. I am far too busy coming up with new and creative ways to get out of things to create blogs. However, since I have been accused of this, and due to my loyalty to H.U.R.L. i will take the fall for the genius that posted this fabulous idea. Perhaps in order to be more green and to conserve fuel we can just web cam the next family gathering. That is how we run the official Brothers in Law meetings. See you all later...then again probably not.

I know it is not my husband as he will not post comments in fear he may get criticized or ridiculed! That leaves one and only one husband left...I don't believe I need to name any names!

Okay now!!!! Someone's hitting close to home on this one!!! Not that I would call myself a pirate, but I HAVE had a son-in-law (or two) make reference to that!! I do believe I got an invitation in the mail with the envelope addressed in a pirate-like manner!! (Nick?!?!?!?!? You can't get out of this one because that envelope came from your house with your handwriting on it!!!) AND what about the time you and Kelly called and asked me if I was the pirate that stole that ship (or whatever) off the coast of Africa (or wherever)? I must say that the majority of pirate jokes comes from the Shelbyville area!!! Good thing I don't take them too personal!!
You guys make me laugh!! The girls here at work wonder what the hell is sooo funny. Ruthie, I would never call you a pirate, a fat ass yes, but a pirate no. I can't wait for our next family get together. Whoever doesn't come will out himself as the writer of these mean blogs!!!

I throw my bet in that it's Ben...this has someone from Koots written all over this!
WHAT?!?!!? You are all blaming my loving and caring husband??? Ben LOVES all the family get togethers! He does a little happy dance whenever he hears that we have to travel to eat food and gossip at somebody elses house (aka family get together). Hope to see you all soon!

Kori, I will not be at Easter this year. In H.U.R.L. we stand together and if brother Ben has to work then I will work. Plus it looks as if several people voted for me early on, that being the case, and judging by the afore mentioned rule I do not have to attend. I will however provide Kelly with a recent photograph to set up in my absence. Regretfully yours,
